System Architect

Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for customer requirement analysis, system design of alternative solutions, specifying development strategy.

- Acts as primary interface towards customer for technical discussion.

- Ensures system integrity and optimization of system characteristics.

- Represents the company at standardization meetings and drives industry standards.

- Acts as technical leader and provides technical leadership to project/product managers.

- Leads process improvements, acts as a coach and ensures knowledge sharing and transfer.

- Secure the functionality and the quality of deliveries in customer projects with close cooperation with local product management.


REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB:
- B.SC. Degree in information and communications technology or related disciplines;

- Strong track record of system architect working experience;

- Excellent knowledge of mobile data application;

- Good understanding ofChinatelecom industry;

- Good understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

- Consultative behavior, business minded and strong team spirit.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer management skills.

- Knowledge of specifications of standardization bodies and industry forums (such as 3GPP, IETF, OMA, WAP Forum etc.) preferred

- Preferable solid IMS knowledge

- Knowledge of Symbian, J2ME, SIP/RTP/RTCP/MSRP/RTSP preferred.

- Fluent in written and oral English communications.
