Responsibility

Integration- and test planning.

Fulfilment of integration- and test plans.
·
Report and follow-up integration and test activities.
The responsibility can cover test scopes of very different size, from a small product to a large complete system.
Authority
Thesenior integration and verification engineerhas the authority to:
·
Create integration and test plans in accordance with superior plans.
·
Manage resources to fulfil integration and test plans.
·
Approve the test content and test reports.
·
Escalate the risks and problems
Key Work Tasks
The key work tasks for a Test Leader are to:
·
Participate in all verification and test planning.
·
Co-ordinate all tests, such as integration test, system test and acceptance test.
·
Design and develop test strategies, integration plans and test plans.
·
Lead the integration- and test execution.
·
Analyse resource- and competence need.
·
Report the need for education and external support.
·
Instruct testers and designers in testing methods and techniques.
·
Document results and write reports. The reports should include detailed specifications of software used during test.
·
Report progress.
·
Ensure test involvement in early phases of development projects.
·
Review test documentation.
·
Write HW and SW configuration requests towards Test Configuration Management.
·
Improve test methods.
·
Investigate new test technology and propose new tools and equipment.
Competence Requirements
The Test Leader shall have the following competence:
·
In depth knowledge of the development model used, especially regarding test phases.
·
In depth knowledgeand experience of integration and test methods and technologies.
·
Experience of programming
·
Good knowledge of Unix, Web logic, Oracle, networking
·
Good product knowledge, such as value added service, mobile data application, IMS
·
High competence in interpersonal skill.
·
3-5 year working experience in the area.
EducationMaster degree in computer science or related
